Our People 1

“I love working at Holywell,
we’re one big family and
we look after each other”

Holywell Care Group is incredibly fortunate to employ the very best in the business. We consider every one of our employees to be a valuable member of the Holywell team, with a vital part to play in how we deliver care to our clients. Our teams are trained to the highest standards - a fact recognised in our most recent Care Quality Commission accreditation - and undergo a programme of monitoring and professional development to ensure we maintain our high standards.

It is the people that make up our teams
who ensure that care is at the heart of everything we do
at Holywell Care Group.

Every single member of the Holywell team
has a valuable part to play in the way we care

Bridgeway Care Home, Holywell Home and Holywell Care Services are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) of England under the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
Each one of our staff is required to have enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance before they start work at the home. In addition, they receive induction training, coaching, specialised training and supervision to ensure that the quality of service they provide is second to none.

Training and development

Holywell’s training coordinator organises the induction of all new staff as part of which each employee’s training needs are assessed. Those staff who are new to social care are enrolled on The Care Certificate training programme; after completion of this induction programme, staff are encouraged and supported to enroll in QCS training courses.
If necessary, some staff receive specialist training so that they can meet the special needs of some individual service users.
